LiveDirectory has one mission:
To make the Internet more interactive, more automated and more useful for everyone.
LiveDirectory has two objectives:
1. Give Content Publishers the tools to do more with their content.
2. Give Application Developers real-time content to build next generation web apps & services.
LiveDirectory does three things:
1. RESTful Data API
Provide a 'profile data' API to allow anybody to publish and manage an arbitrary set of data.
2. RESTful Subscription API
Provide a subscription service to send HTTP callbacks when specific data changes.
3. Profile Directory
Maintain a directory of public profiles.
